Greetings! I am Kavita Jaiswal, a global educator, aspiring author, counselor, and the proud founder of Edurashtra. My life’s journey is one of overcoming challenges and fostering empowerment through education. Growing up in a conservative, middle-class family, I nurtured dreams that transcended the ordinary, aspiring to revolutionize the educational landscape.
### Overcoming Societal Expectations
My marriage brought me into a conservative household where traditional norms dictated my choices. Despite facing significant opposition for my desire to pursue a career, I remained committed to my vision. My two sons, Kirit and Kartavya, provided immense joy and motivation during difficult times, pushing me to maintain my focus on my dreams.
### Climbing the Educational Ladder
After years of perseverance, I secured a teaching position at an international school. This role became a turning point in my career, as my dedication and innovative teaching methods garnered recognition. Soon, I transitioned into a coordinator role, solidifying my position as a leader in education. I realized that my role extended beyond teaching; I was now a mentor and a catalyst for change.
### The Birth of EDURASHTRA
When the pandemic struck, it catalyzed a global shift towards online learning. While many struggled, I viewed this as an opportunity to expand my reach. I began offering online classes to students in the USA, Australia, and Canada, and thus, Edurashtra was born.
Edurashtra is not just an online learning platform; it’s a manifestation of my lifelong commitment to education, merging ancient wisdom with modern learning techniques to empower students.
### Rapid Growth and Recognition
The success of Edurashtra was swift and significant, earning recognition across media platforms and a growing online community. Today, Edurashtra reaches students globally, combining the wisdom of the Vedas and Upanishads with contemporary education.
This transformative journey from a middle-class girl with dreams to the CEO of a thriving educational platform has been challenging but rewarding. It exemplifies how resilience and determination can lead to success.
### Future Aspirations
While Edurashtra’s success is commendable, I view it as just the beginning. I aim to expand our reach, impacting millions of students worldwide, empowering them through knowledge and values. My journey continues, and I am committed to inspiring others to follow their dreams with tenacity.
“If I can do it, so can you”.
